The telephone or `T` setting, is also practical in large areas such as restaurants, theaters, auditoriums, etc. These buildings must be furnished with induction loop or FM installations. In places such as these, an wearer is able to mask out surrounding noise and have the hearing aid focus on the speaker’s voice.
A third feature a hearing aid could have is a direct audio input. These hearing aids have the capability to link to a remote microphone or a FM assistive listening device. A hearing aid with direct audio input also allows an individual to connect to a TV or other devices like a computer, radio, CD player, etc.
A hearing aid is so much more innovative nowadays than ten or twenty years ago. With current research and development, hearing aid technology will certainly become even more advanced.
